LOCAL ATHLETES BRING BACK MEDALS FROM STATE SPECIAL OLYMPICS

This past weekend the BHS Special Olympics team traveled to San Antonio for the State track meet, known as Summer Games.

Adrianna Ballard: GOLD in 50 meter assisted walk & BRONZE in the Softball throw

Christian Grawunder: BRONZE in the 200 meter run & 4th in the Mini Javelin Throw

Clayton Grimm:  BRONZE in the 100 meter run & GOLD in the Mini Javelin Throw

Malachi Kesee:  GOLD in the 100 meter run & 4th in the Mini Javelin Throw

Andre' Tealer:  GOLD in the 100 meter run & 5th in the Mini Javelin Throw

Mason Tedder:  BRONZE in both, the 100 meter run & Mini Javelin Throw

4x100 Unified Relay teams, earning BRONZE, Todd Ashorn, Clayton Grimm, Colton Jaster & Christian Grawunder

Kevin Moore, Mason Tedder, Andre' Tealer & Andre' J. Tealer also competed in the 4x100 Unified Relay

This concludes the season for the school year.  Coach Angela Moore thanked everyone for their continued support of the Brenham Cubs Special Olympics.
