THREE ARRESTED IN LOCAL DRUG OPERATION

  

Three people have been arrested locally on drug charges.

Around 6:00 Tuesday morning, the Brenham Police Department and Washington County Sheriff’s deputies executed a search warrant at a residence in the 200 block of Blinn Boulevard.

The search resulted in the recovery of narcotics, weapons and money.

Three people were taken into custody on various charges: 17-year old Damon Sims, 19-year old Ja’Quail Jackson and 20-year old Dontae Hammons, all of Houston.

According to authorities, the search warrant was a result of an investigation conducted by the Brenham Police Crime Reduction Unit.

(The Washington County Sheriff's Office reports at 3:45pm Tuesday that they are still waiting on a booking photo of Ja' Quail Jackson and that Damon Sims was not booked into the Washington County Jail.)
