OPENING OF REGION XIV SOFTBALL TOURNEY MOVED BACK

The opening of the Region XIV Softball Championship Tournament has been delayed.

Due to impending bad weather, the tourney—slated for the Larry Phillips Family Sports Complex in Lufkin, will now start Sunday instead of Friday.

The game times remain intact, but the schedule is moved back two days.

The Blinn Buccaneers (42-13/23-1), the #1 seed in the tournament will face Kilgore (22-24/12-16), Sunday night at 7:30.

Tournament games will be live streamed (no audio) via Angelina College.  Web links for the tournament/live streams will be posted closer to the tournament start at:   angelina.prestosports.com/sports/sball
