A recent book launch from an area pastor has been hailed as a tremendous success by event organizers.
Over 300 people came out to the Cannery Kitchen in Brenham Saturday to get their own copy of How the Devil Works, written by Pastor Johnnie Williams.
All the copies of the book sold out at the book signing, hosted by Reverend Randy Wells.
Williams, the longtime pastor at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Somerville, says the book attempts to give readers and believers basic knowledge of mankind’s greatest enemy, and also offers teachings from the Bible about life on earth.

Williams is often called “the community’s pastor” and “the city’s pastor” for his work in and around the Brenham area. In addition to his involvement in community service programs, he has also served as chaplain of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and president of the Brenham Police Department’s Chaplain Program.
Copies of the book are available online at www.drjohnniewilliams.com.
