MEMORIAL DAY SERVICES IN BRENHAM, CHAPPELL HILL
A pair of Memorial Day services will be held this (Monday) morning in Washington County.
The Annual Memorial Day Service in Brenham will begin at 11 a.m. at the American Legion Hall on North Park Street. County Court-at-Law Judge Eric Berg will deliver today’s speech, discussing his family’s history in the military.

In Chappell Hill, the 11th Annual Memorial Day Remembrance will be held at the Chappell Hill Historical Society Museum on Poplar Street.
Hosted by the Chappell Hill Cultural Heritage Group, the event will include musical tributes, student essay readings, and the posting and retiring of colors. Guest speakers will be Mary Tallouzi with the Wounded Warrior Project, and Brenham ISD Superintendent Dr. Walter Jackson.
