TWO ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP FRIDAY

  

Two people were arrested by Brenham Police Friday evening after a traffic stop.  Brenham Police report that Friday evening at 6:45, Cpl. Tommy Kurie conducted a traffic stop in the 2500 block of U.S. Highway 290 East. Upon contact with the occupants of the vehicle, a strong odor of marijuana emitted from inside the vehicle. The driver, Khalil Robinson, 18, of Killeen, and the passenger, Marvin Davis, 18, of Killeen, were arrested for possession of marijuana and unlawful carrying a weapon. The driver has an additional charge of possession of dangerous drug.  Both were transported to the Washington County Jail.
