BRYAN MAN ARRESTED AFTER MULTI-COUNTY CHASE
A Bryan man is in custody after leading authorities on a multi-county chase that ended in Grimes County, Tuesday.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety a state trooper attempted to stop a car on Highway 6 in Brazos County, around 3:30 p.m.
The driver, identified at 41-year old Cedric DeWayne Love, led the trooper on a chase through Navasota onto Highway 105 East, allegedly tossing drugs out of his vehicle as he drove. The drugs were later recovered by troopers.
Love then stopped at a home on Highway 105, but had to be tasered by a Navasota police officer.
Love is charged with a second-degree felony count of possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence and evading in a vehicle, both third-degree felonies.
