LEE COUNTY “RELAY FOR LIFE” THIS FRIDAY IN GIDDINGS
One of the most successful fundraisers in Lee County is the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life”.
This year’s event will be on Friday from 6 p.m. to Midnight at the Giddings Buffalo Stadium on 2337 North Main.
The Relay is open to the public and there is no cost to enter. This year’s theme is “Fiesta!” featuring colorful decorations and encouraging team members to dress up.
Money raised helps the American Cancer Society save lives by funding cancer research, supporting education efforts, and providing free information and critical services for people with cancer who need them.
