WRITERS’ WORKSHOP SET FOR NEXT FRIDAY-SUNDAY

  

Brenham’s Lifetime Learning series continues next weekend, with a three-day writing workshop.

Author Ron Rozelle will visit Brenham next Friaday-thru-Sunday, June 14-16, hosting: “A Bunch of Heads are Better than One: Three Days of Focused Peer Critiquing”.  The workshop will be held at the Blinn College Student Center.

Both new and experienced writers will be able to appreciate the techniques taught at the workshop, which will be spent critiquing and allowing writers to learn from each other’s writing.

Rozelle has taught creative writing for 40 years, and has written ten books including My Boys and Girls are in There, which received the Calvert Prize and was presented at the 2012 Texas Book Festival.

The cost of the workshop is $200, with a registration deadline of June 7th.  Participants age 18 and up are welcome.
