TWO TEEX POLICE ACADEMY GRADS SWORN INTO BRENHAM POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Brenham Police Department welcomes its newest cadets from the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service Academy.
The department welcomes officers Levi McElreath and Crystal Buckner. The new cadets graduated last week from TEEX Academy, and were sworn in Tuesday.
The graduates were required to pass the Basic Peace Officer course, as well as the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement licensing exam. They received training in dozens of topics, including Texas Penal code, traffic code, and crisis intervention training.
