TEXAS MONTHLY BEST BBQ VOTE BETWEEN TWO BRAZOS VALLEY RESTAURANTS
Two regional barbecue joints are competing for the right to be called best in the state.
Snow’s BBQ in Lexington and Brett’s Backyard BBQ in Rockdale are the final entries remaining in Texas Monthly’s 2019 readers’ choice barbecue bracket.
Snow’s defeated Kreuz Market of Lockhart in the semifinals, while Brett’s took down Franklin’s BBQ of Austin.
Snow’s received the honor from Texas Monthly as top barbecue joint in the state two years ago. Earlier this year, Brett’s was named among the top 25 new barbecue restaurants.
Voting continues through Tuesday, July 9th. Anyone wanting to vote can do so at www.texasmonthly.com.
