GAS PRICES RISE AGAIN THIS WEEK

  

The price of a gallon of gas continues to rise after a brief drop, earlier.

The average price of a gall of regular unleaded in Texas this week is $2.46, according to the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch.

That is eight cents more than last week, but it is 19 cents less per gallon compared to this day last year.

In Brenham, the average price of a gallon of gas is $2.44 per gallon, with a low of $2.28 and a high of $2.75.

Of the major metropolitan areas, drivers in El Paso are paying the most on average at $2.76 while drivers in Amarillo and Brownsville/Harlingen are paying the least at $2.31 per gallon.

The national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded is $2.75, which is seven cents more last week and 11 cents less than the price per gallon at this same time last year.
