NEW SOMERVILLE CLINIC ON SCHEDULE

  

Officials in Somerville say the construction of the new Health Point Clinic is proceeding on schedule and should be completed by September.

JaCody Construction of College Station says the recent good weather has allowed them to work quickly.

So far, much of the structural framing, exterior framing and sheathing has been completed, along with interior framing, roofing, electrical and plumbing, and site paving.

The remaining work includes: exterior and mechanical work, sheetrock and painting, flooring and interior finishing.

The new clinic, located at 10^th and 11^th Streets, between Avenue C and Highway 36, will replace the old facility at Sixth St. and Avenue C.

The cost of the project is $2.75-million.
