AUTHORITIES DEAL WITH ‘COPYCAT’ BLUE BELL POSTINGS

Two weeks after a viral video of a teen-aged woman taking the lid off a Blue Bell container and licking the ice cream, then putting it back in the display case, videos of copycats doing the same thing are now making the rounds on social media.
Police in Assumption Parish, Louisiana officials, say 36-year old Lenise Martin III has been taken into custody after a similar video was posted on social media.
Deputies charged Martin with unlawful posting of criminal activity for notoriety and publicity, and tampering with property. Martin remains in jail and will have bond set by a judge, Monday.
Officials say notices have been sent out to investigators informing them that copycat cases should be dealt with "immediately and with the full extent of the law."
