HEMPSTEAD MAN FACES DRUG CHARGES IN BRENHAM

A Hempstead man faces multiple charges following a Saturday traffic stop.
Police initiated a traffic stop in the 200 block of US HIghway 290 West. An investigation turned up crack cocaine, ecstasy, prescription pills and marijuana.
32-year old Tamendreon Phillips of Hempstead was placed in custody and transported to Washington County Jail where he was charged with: Driving While License Invalid Enhanced, three charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana.
