AUTHORITIES EXTINGUISH 4TH OF JULY VEHICLE FIRE NEAR ROUND TOP
No injuries were reported after a 4th of July vehicle fire in Fayette County.
Around 6 p.m., the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a car on fire on Krause Road near Hills Road, in the Round Top area.
The Round Top-Warrenton Fire Department responded to the scene, along with Sheriff’s Deputy Adam Mack, to find a 2006 Mazda fully engulfed.
The fire was quickly extinguished. The driver of the vehicle reported seeing smoke coming from the engine area before stopping.
