CASA, NEW BEGINNINGS PREGNANCY CENTER TO HOLD DISCUSSION ON FOSTER CARE PREGNANCY
CASA for Kids and New Beginnings Pregnancy Center will host a “Brown Bag Lunch” discussion Tuesday on teen pregnancy in foster care.
The discussion will feature CASA and New Beginnings officials, as they share ways to help teens make more informed sexual decisions. According to CASA, one in 20 girls ages 13-17 in Texas foster care becomes pregnant.
The discussion will also look to break the cycles of broken relationships, and empower individuals for lives of hope and self-sufficiency.
The session will be held July 16th from noon to 2 p.m. at CASA’s office in Brenham, at 1500 South Day Street. To RSVP, call 979-277-0088.
