ENTERGY DONATES OVER 1,300 FANS TO AREA TOWNS
An energy provider has donated over 1,300 box fans to several area communities.
Wednesday, Entergy hand-delivered the fans to 31 towns they serve in the east Texas area, as part of their annual Beat the Heat campaign.
Among the places receiving fans were Somerville, Navasota, Huntsville, Calvert, Madisonville, Franklin, Bremond, Midway, and Normangee.
The fans were handed out at city halls or community centers in those cities. Over the last 19 years, Entergy has donated around 21,000 fans to surrounding communities.
