DEREK HALL NAMED NEW EDITOR, PUBLISHER AT BRENHAM BANNER-PRESS

  

The Brenham Banner-Press has named its newest editor and publisher.

Derek Hall has been named to the position.  A 38-year-old graduate of Brenham High School, Hall has worked for the local newspaper for just under 20 years.

Hall’s most recent position with the paper was as its creative marketing director, where he focused on print and advertising sales.

Hall will be replacing Jay Strasner, who is joining the Community Impact Newspaper group in the Dallas-Fort Worth region as a general manager.
