WORK BEGINS MONDAY ON LOOP 83 IN CALDWELL
TxDOT starts approximately a week-long work effort today (Monday) on Loop 83 in Caldwell.
The job involves the milling and inlaying of the loop from Highway 36 to Highway 21. The work should take about five days to complete.
According to TxDOT, the work on the loop will be from curb to curb throughout the entire length of the road. This will include the parking spaces on—and the businesses across from—the west side of the courthouse.
The job is contracted out to Cornerstone Paving and Construction of Brenham for $225,000.
Drivers should expect delays and obey all traffic control devices.
