Authorities in Brazos County are continuing their search for a weekend hit-and-run driver.

According to Bryan Police, a man has undergone three surgeries with more scheduled after he was struck on OSR over the weekend.

Mark Pineda was walking along the highway after his vehicle ran out of gas, when he was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene.

According to family, Pineda suffered broken ribs, a collapsed lung, a broken leg, broken fingers and both collar bones were broken.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact DPS or Bryan Police.

DPS says the vehicle was a white pick-up truck.  Investigators are still trying to determine a model.  The truck is missing the passenger side mirror.
