PROGRAM ON TOP LAWS TEXAS LANDOWNERS NEED TO KNOW AUGUST 26TH IN CAT SPRING
Area landowners are invited later this month to a seminar in Cat Spring, where they can learn about important state property laws.
The session will be held Monday, August 26th at the Cat Spring Ag Hall, 13035 Hall Road in Cat Spring. Program registration opens at 8:30 a.m., with the program running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The session will be led by Tiffany Dowell Lashmet, Agricultural Law Specialist for the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. Lashmet will cover topics such as eminent domain, special use tax valuation, landowner liability, water law and fence law.
All attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the “Owning Your Piece of Texas: Top Laws Landowners Need to Know” handbook.
The program is free, and lunch will be provided. Registration is required to ensure there are enough meals and handbooks available.
