FIRST CHAPPELL HILL BEER, MUSIC AND WINE FESTIVAL HAILED AS A SUCCESS

Event organizers are calling the inaugural Chappell Hill Beer, Music and Wine Festival a success.

According to Chappell Hill Chamber of Commerce President John Wick, about 300 to 400 people made their way to Chappell Hill for the festival, many of them first-time visitors.

Wick said the Chamber’s goal for this event was to bring people into town to explore, shop, dine, and spend the weekend at its B&B’s, and he said the Chamber “accomplished that goal”.

Wick thanked the volunteers, business community, the Citizens on Patrol, Hubert Masonic Lodge #67, and everyone that helped with the event.  He also thanked the sponsors for the event, including Tres Toros Whitetails, Texas Star Winery and Coalfox Brewery.

Wick said the Chamber received input on how to make the event better for 2020, and is looking forward with the community as it plans the next one.
