WASHINGTON CO. NON-EMERGENCY LINE DOWN TEMPORARILY

  

Officials with the Washington County E-911 Department say they are currently dealing with a non-operative phone line.

E-911 Director Kristi Stamnes said that the department’s non-emergency line (979-277-7373) went down this (Tuesday) morning around 6:30 a.m.  She said the emergency line is still working normally.

Stamnes said the problem is believed to be on the side of the phone provider, not the county.  Crews are working on restoring the line as soon as possible.
