COMMODITY CARNIVAL TO VISIT WASHINGTON CO. FAIR
This weekend kicks off the 151st Washington County Fair, and there will be no shortage of activities to participate in.
One of those activities will be the 7th Annual Commodity Carnival, hosted by CME Group and the National 4-H Council.
The Commodity Carnival is an interactive, educational fair experience that teaches young fairgoers about managing the business risks and costs associated with producing and bringing livestock to market.
Participants will play a game that involves growing and bringing a steer to market, having fun while also learning agricultural science and basic economics.
The Commodity Carnival booth will be at the Washington County Fair from September 16th to the 18th. Fairgoers can bring home the experience by downloading the mobile companion game Risk Ranch to their mobile device.
