CASA LEGISLATION ADVOCACY TEAM RECAP WEDNESDAY IN BRENHAM

  

CASA for Kids’ Legislation Advocacy Team (LAT) will be in Brenham Wednesday afternoon to give a recap of the past legislative session.

At the meeting, attendees will learn how CASA works with legislators to make improvements in foster care.

There will also be discussion on how LATs work with CASA to build relationships with legislators, develop policy agendas to improve the child welfare system, and motivate others to advocate for those improvements.

The team will be at CASA’s Brenham office at 1500 South Day Street at 5:30 p.m.  The meeting is open to the public.
