KIDFISH SET FOR SATURDAY AT BLUE BELL AQUATIC CENTER

  

Fishers of all ages are invited to come out to the Blue Bell Aquatic Center this weekend for the 13^th Annual KIDFISH.

Saturday, starting at 8:30 a.m., guests will be able to try their hand at reeling in the big one from the Aquatic Center leisure pool, which will be filled with roughly 400 pounds of catfish.

Aquatic Supervisor Tammy Jaster says event is designed to provide a fishing experience for those who may not get to have one all that often.

 

Fishing poles will be provided, but people can also bring their own.  The top catchers will be awarded at a ceremony at 12:15 p.m.

Jaster says there will be more than just fishing going on, though.

 

There will also be opportunities for boy scouts and girl scouts to earn badges.
