JESSICA ENRIQUE CROWNED BURLESON CO. FAIR QUEEN
A new queen was crowned Wednesday night at the 72nd Annual Burleson County Fair.
Jessica Enrique was crowned as this year’s queen. Enrique was followed by first runner up Paige Odenbach, who sold the most tickets. Second and third runners up were Kaitlyn Kindt and Michaela Jaster.
Together, the four contestants sold over $75,000 in tickets. Last year, contestants raised just over $61,000.
Also crowned Wednesday night was Karlee Praesel, named this year’s Little Miss. First runner up was Faith Garcia, second was Brooklyn Brinkman, and third was Jessa Bauman. A total of 25 contestants competed for Little Miss this year.
Tonight (Thursday), the Texas Unlimited Band will take the stage at 8 p.m., following a free gospel concert at 7 p.m. The Crossroads Band and Diamond Rio will play tomorrow (Friday) night. Saturday, the Crossroads Band and Pat Green will perform.
KTEX-106’s Trail Boss Troy will be at the Burleson County Fairgrounds Saturday night, broadcasting live from the friendly country cruiser.
