“GHOST” NAMED PET OF THE WEEK
The Brenham Pet Adoption Center has named “Ghost” as its Pet of the Week.
Ghost is a white mixed breed, about two years old. His trip to the Brenham Pet Adoption Center was quite eventful, as he spent several months wandering city streets and eluding city officials. However, he was finally brought in to the shelter a few weeks ago, and officials say he’s become spoiled as can be.
Ghost will be going up for adoption soon, although his adoption will be handled a bit different than usual. A trainer is currently working with staff on boosting his confidence, as he’s still a bit shy and working on coming out of his shell.
Staff say Ghost is doing great with staff, strangers, and other dogs. He also walks well on a leash, and doesn’t mind a car ride.
The shelter is planning to do a foster-to-adopt type program. Anyone interested in meeting or adopting Ghost can email Animal Services Manager Allison Harper at aharper@cityofbrenham.org.
