DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION FOR FRIDAY LANDOWNER SUMMIT THROUGH MONDAY

  

Discounted registration is still available for an upcoming landowner summit at the Washington County Fairgrounds.

The summit is scheduled for Friday at the Fairgrounds Event Center, located at 1305 East Blue Bell Road in Brenham.  Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., with the program running from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The cost to register is $30 before tomorrow (Tuesday), going up to $40 at the door.  Meals and refreshments are included.  All proceeds benefit the Gideon Lincecum Chapter of Texas Master Naturalist Scholarship Program.

Matters to be discussed at the summit include landowner liability, understanding ecosystems, feral hog and nuisance animal control, and riparian area management and erosion control.
