LOCAL POLICE ARREST YOUTH ON BURGLARY CHARGE
A Brenham juvenile was taken into custody after authorities thwarted an alleged burglary in progress.
Just after 9:00 p.m. Monday, police were called to the 900 block of Barnhill St.
The alleged victim says they observed the juvenile male suspect inside their vehicle. The victim and a witness reportedly gave chase and caught up to the suspect, holding him until police arrived at the scene.
The suspect was detained and transported to the College Station Juvenile Detention Center.
