BUSY DAY WEDNESDAY FOR LOCAL FIRE DEPARTMENT
In addition to the accident on 290 West and the house fire in Brenham, Wednesday was an extremely busy day for the Brenham Fire Department.
Just after 12:00 noon, the department was called to a small grass fire in the 2800 block of Highway 36 North.
The department was quickly able to extinguish the small fire.
Shortly after 5:00 p.m., firefighters removed haze from a home in the 2400 block of Dillon Street, after burning food set of a fire alarm.
And just after 6:00 p.m. they cleaned up a small fluids spill at the scene of a minor accident in the 2600 block of Highway 36 South.
