BRENHAM MAN CHARGED WITH AUTO THEFT/DWI

A Brenham man has been charged with several counts after a vehicle was reportedly stolen, Thursday afternoon.
Police were called to a restaurant in the 2600 block of Highway 36 South, where a person says someone had stolen their vehicle.
Bystanders had followed the vehicle to a nearby intersection, where police made the stop.
31-year old Timothy Luke Addicks of Brenham was taken into custody.
Addicks is charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Driving While Intoxicated. He was taken to the Washington County Jail.
