DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION FOR ROUND TOP TURKEY TROT THROUGH THURSDAY
Today (Thursday) is the last day to received discounted registration for Round Top’s 3rd Annual Turkey Trot.
Presented by the Round Top Lion’s Club, runners can choose from a One-Mile Fun Run, 5K, or 10K the morning of Thanksgiving Day. Each of the races will begin at the Henkel Square Market and wind through the countryside.
Online entry for the 5K and 10K is $35 and $20 for the Fun Run, and includes a t-shirt. Those prices are good through today, going up to $40 tomorrow (Friday) for the 5K and 10K, and $25 for the Fun Run. Race Day registration on November 28th is $45 for the 5K and 10K.
Proceeds benefit the Round Top youth and community organizations. Awards will be given to the top two male and female runners in the 5K and 10K races, while all Fun Runners will receive a medal.
Runners can pick up their packets at Henkel Hall on November 26th from 5 to 7 p.m., or on race day from 7 to 8:15 a.m.
