MAN WANTED IN ACCIDENTAL CHILD DEATH IN HARRIS CO. ARRESTED IN GRIMES CO.

  

Grimes County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man wanted in connection to the accidental death of his three-year-old child in Harris County.

31-year-old Anthony Love has been charged with Making a Firearm Accessible to a Child, a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail.

According to a release from the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, the child died November 1st in an accidental shooting in northwestern Harris County.  Investigation led to Harris County authorities issuing a warrant for Love’s arrest.

On Wednesday, Grimes County deputies were contacted by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division, who said the suspect was believed to be in Grimes County.  He was arrested Thursday near Bedias.

Grimes County jail staff say Love was briefly booked into the Grimes County Jail before being transferred.
