SEALY POLICE: GAS STATION CLERK STEALS MONEY FROM REGISTER HOURS AFTER BEING HIRED

  

Police in Sealy are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect they say stole money from a business she had just been hired to.

On October 29th, a woman was hired as a clerk for the Valero store located at Highway 36 and Loop 350.  Later that day, the owner stepped out to run errands.

Police say, immediately after the owner left, the woman stole all the money from the register and fled the business.  Investigation revealed that she provided false identifying information on her employment application.
