ADAM’S ANGELS TOY AND GIFT DRIVE UNDERWAY
Adam’s Angels Ministry is now taking donations for its annual Christmas Toy and Gift Drive.
Adam’s Angels invites community members to help bring holiday cheer to families whose loved ones are fighting childhood cancer. Gifts are being accepted for infants up to teenagers through December 6th. These donations are taken to the annual Christmas Party at the Children’s Cancer Hospital of M.D. Anderson in Houston, where over 100 children can pick from donated gifts and take photos with Santa.
This year, there are four drop-off locations, three in Brenham and one in College Station:
- Appel Ford, Blake Sander, located at 1820 Highway 290 West in Brenham;
- Brenham Collision Center, at 810 West Main Street in Brenham;
- Hoelscher, Lipsey, Elmore, Poole and Turnbill, P.C., located at 1021 University Drive East in College Station;
- Thielemann Construction, 2310 South Market Street in Brenham.
There will also be a one-day drive thru drop-off at Fireman’s Park at 901 North Park Street on December 8th, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Donations can also be made through AmazonSmile online, which delivers straight to Adam’s Angels. When shopping at https://smile.amazon.com, the AmazonSmile Foundation donates 0.5 percent of the purchase price of eligible products to the charity of the shopper’s choice.
All donations must be new, and cannot be opened, played with, or gently used. Adam’s Angels will not take stuffed animals, beanie babies, toys from gift meal boxes, or toys of a religious nature. Play guns will not be accepted, but NERF guns are allowed. Monetary and gift card donations will also be accepted.
