DEADLINE SATURDAY TO SUBMIT SAMPLES FOR BRAZOS VALLEY SOIL AND FORAGE TESTING CAMPAIGN

  

Less than a week remains to submit samples for the Brazos Valley Soil and Forage Testing Campaign.

Agricultural producers have until Saturday to turn in soil and forage samples for analysis to determine their viability.  The campaign is limited to range, pasture, and crop soil samples.

Cost per sample for a routine soil analysis is $8, while analysis with micronutrients is $15.  Forage analysis is $5 per sample.

Soil sample bags and submittal forms are available in Washington and Austin Counties at several locations, including:

• Washington County Extension Office – 1305 East Blue Bell Road in Brenham,
• Cattlemen’s Supply Inc. – 1850 Highway 105 in Brenham,
• Brenham Produce – 1103 South Market Street in Brenham,
• Austin County Extension Office – 800 East Wendt Street in Bellville,
• Harrison’s Farm Service – 1304 East Hacienda Street in Bellville,
• Linseisen’s Feed and Supply – 551 West Main Street in Bellville,
• Steinhauser’s – 228 East Front Street in Sealy,
• Lindemann’s Store – 7745 Ernst Parkway in Industry.
