TWO ARRESTED ON DRUG POSSESSION CHARGES

  

Two people face drug possession charges after a pair of traffic stops in Brenham this weekend.

Friday afternoon, just after 2:00, police pulled over 21-year old Camry Levi of Austin in the 2000 block of U.S. Highway 290 West.

Levi was found in possession of ecstasy and was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

She was evaluated and cleared by medical staff and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Saturday afternoon around 5:00, police pulled over a vehicle in the 2200 block of Highway 290 East for a traffic violation.

Investigation revealed that the driver, 19-year old Freddy Martinez of Houston, was in possession of narcotics.

Martinez was placed in custody and booked into the Washington County Jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
