TWO ARRESTED ON DRUG CHARGES
Two Brenham residents face drug charges after their arrests over the weekend.
Friday, just before 1:00 p.m., police investigated a narcotic call at the Brenham High School Campus.
18-year old Zulma Yessil Rapalo-Gomez of Brenham was found in possession of liquid THC, while on campus.
Rapalo-Gomez was arrested and charged with possession of a Controlled Substance in a Drug Free Zone – a 3rd Degree Felony and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Sunday just after 8:00 p.m., Brenham Police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 2000 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a disturbance.
At the scene, police identified the suspect in question as 32-year old Eliazar Torres-Garcia of Brenham.
Torres-Garcia was found in possession of methamphetamines. He was taken into custody for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
