TWO ARRESTED OVER THE WEEKEND ON WARRANTS

Two people have been arrested on warrants after weekend traffic stops by Brenham Police.
36-year old Ricardo David Garnica of Spring was pulled over in the 2900 block of Highway 290 East, Saturday afternoon, just before 3:00.
According to police, Garnica was wanted on two outstanding warrants, one for Driving while intoxicated and the other for Theft by check $750 < $2,500.
Garnica was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Sunday morning, just before 9:00, police pulled over a vehicle in the 300 block of North Austin Parkway.
It was discovered that the driver, 32-year old Christopher James Hartnell of New Braunfels was wanted for two outstanding warrants out of Washington County court of law for criminal trespass.
Hartnell was arrested for the warrants and transported to the Washington County Jail.
