‘KOLEDY POLSKIE’ SATURDAY IN CHAPPELL HILL

  

The 12th Annual Koledy Polskie is set for this weekend at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Chappell Hill.

The annual Polish Christmas celebration will be held Saturday at noon inside the church.

The event will include Polish Christmas carols, caroling at different houses and Polish Christmas traditions.

The event will kick off with a welcome by Jim Mazurkiewicz, professor at Texas A&M and former Chappell Hill resident and greetings by Father Jozef Musiol.

The group will partake in sharing the “oplatek” Christmas wafer, a popular Polish tradition that is a symbol of love and gratitude.

The public is invited to sing Polish Christmas carols in the church.

Caroling will begin at 12:30 p.m. and includes three houses. There will be food and beverages along the route.
