LEE CO. HOME TO RED CROSS DISASTER TRAILER

  

Lee County is now home to a Red Cross disaster trailer.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the delivery of the trailer that will be shared by Lee and Fayette Counties.

County Sheriff Rodney Meyer says, “By having a Red Cross trailer here, if there’s a disaster we won’t have to wait for one to be brought in to the county.”

Lee County Emergency Management Coordinator Delynn Peschke said, “The trailer contains essential supplies that would be used if either county needs to open an emergency shelter.”
