RED STEAGALL TO HONOR COWBOY TRADITIONS SATURDAY AT BARNHILL CENTER

Cowboy culture and traditions will be celebrated tomorrow (Saturday) night at the Barnhill Center in Brenham.

Red Steagall and the Boys in the Bunkhouse will perform tomorrow in a celebration that will also include a chuckwagon dinner from Jimmy Detro’s Cowboy Cookers, and a historical gunfight show by the Brenham Bandits.  The chuckwagon dinner and bandit shootout kick off at 6 p.m., with the Red Steagall performance following at 7:30 p.m.

This will be Steagall’s first time performing at the Barnhill Center.  His stop this weekend will be the next stop of what has been a long and successful journey.

Steagall, who Barnhill Center booking agent Sharon Brass calls “the epitome of the Texas cowboy”, was inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2004, and the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame in 2007.

Standard tickets for the Red Steagall show are still available, starting at $65.  VIP add-ons, which include the chuckwagon dinner and Wild West Shootout by the Brenham Bandits, are sold out.
