BLINN SBDC OFFERING BASIC QUICKBOOKS COURSE FEBRUARY 28TH
Blinn College’s Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will host a basic QuickBooks course next week.
The class will be held next Friday, February 28th from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the A.W. Hodde, Jr. Technical Education Center, at 2910 South Blue Bell Road in Brenham.
The basic-level course is designed for users who have little or no experience using the QuickBooks desktop accounting software. Participants will have access to computers with the software, and reference materials will be provided.
Topics include invoices, setting up financial records, bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, deposits and checks, and creating reports. Certified Public Accountant and QuickBooks advisor Julie Gilmer will instruct the course, which does not include the online version of QuickBooks.
Registration is $100 per person, and class size is limited. The session will include a one-hour lunch break.
