INTRODUCTION TO MULTI-COUNTY NEW LANDOWNER SERIES FRIDAY IN LA GRANGE

The first program of the 2020 Multi-County New Landowner Education series takes place Friday in La Grange.

The initial session, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at the Fayette County Extension Office, will provide an overview of the program, share information for local resources, and provide participants with an opportunity to learn more about the fundamentals of managing their property.

Representatives from the County Appraisal District Offices in each county will be on hand for individual county breakout sessions to help answer questions related to Ag/Wildlife Tax Valuation for participants.

Programs will be held on the third Friday of the months of February through May, and August through November.  Each month’s meeting will be held at different locations in Washington, Austin, Colorado, and Fayette Counties.  Meetings will last between four and five hours, depending on the topic and possible tour stops.

Cost for the program series is $125 per person or $200 per couple for all eight meetings, or $20 per person per meeting.  Continuing Education Units (CEU’s) for pesticide applicators will be offered as they are available.
