BACK THE BLUE 5K IN BELLVILLE APRIL 4TH

  

Bellville is set to play host to the 3^rd Annual Back the Blue 5K event, supporting local law enforcement.

This year’s event will be held on April 4^th at Clark Park, featuring 5K and 10K races, a softball game pitting Bellville police officers against local volunteer firefighters and Austin County EMS, and other community building activities.

The 5K and 10K races will begin at 7 a.m. on April 4^th, with softball starting at 10 a.m.

Cost to register for the 5K and 10K races are $35 and $45 respectively, going up $10 each after March 4^th.  Registration includes a t-shirt, a medal, a bib, and 50 percent off select merchandise.

Proceeds from the event will benefit CASA For Kids of South Central Texas, serving Austin, Colorado, Waller, and Washington Counties.
