DANNI MORFORD TO SPEAK AT LIFETIME LEARNING LUNCHEON FRIDAY
Lifetime Learning in Brenham will feature a unique speaker tomorrow (Friday) for its next installment in the Luncheon Lecture series.
Danni Morford, a mother of three sons and the wife to a husband who have all dealt with addiction throughout their lives, will speak tomorrow at 11:30 a.m. at the Blinn College Student Center Banquet Room.
Morford grew tired of other families extoling their accomplishments in Christmas letters, and decided to be brutally honest with her letters. After her oldest son died from an accidental overdose in 2007, she published those Christmas letters in a book, “Shoot My Ashes From a Cannon”, as well as the letters she writes her deceased son as she struggles with grief.
Although Morford is not an addiction professional, she has become wise from personal experience. Her book will be available at the luncheon for purchase and signing.
Tickets for the event are $25. All Lifetime Learning lectures and luncheons are open to the public, but pre-registration is required.
