ARREST MADE IN TUESDAY SHOOTING INCIDENT

  

An arrest has been made in the shooting incident that took place Tuesday night.  The Brenham Police Department Crime Reduction Unit has arrested Cedrick Gee, a 25-year-old male of Brenham, on a warrant for Aggravated Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury, which is a first degree felony. The warrant was issued based on the investigation conducted by the Brenham Police Department Criminal Investigation Division and the DPS Texas Rangers stemming from the recent Shooting incident that took place in the 800 Block of Pleasantview Avenue on Tuesday, March 3rd. In that incident, a male subject sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the leg.  He was pulled over by a Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy on Highway 105, who applied a tourniquet near the wound and called for EMS.
