KRAUSE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TO HOST CAMPUS-WIDE WRITING DAY APRIL 3RD
As students in Brenham ISD get ready for the annual STAAR tests, Krause Elementary School is looking to give students a jump start with a campus-wide writing day.
The non-structured event, set for Friday, April 3rd from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., will have students writing about people, jobs, or interests that inspire them. The event has been coordinated by STEAM Teacher Mary Kroll, along with all Krause Elementary School staff.
Krause Elementary School Kindergarten teacher Krystal Phipps says, as STAAR testing approaches, the school is trying to give students inspiration and experiences that they can pull from for writing. She says the initiative will hopefully get students’ creative juices flowing in the best way possible.
